We offer BoilMyEggs.com as a free egg boiling calculator. It estimates a boil time from your altitude, egg size, and how done you want the egg. You don't need an account, and nothing on the site costs money.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is,” with no warranty of any kind. We can't guarantee how any egg turns out, or that the site will always be accurate or available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or harm from using the site, including anything you cook with it.
Food safety
Times are estimates. Pots, stoves, and eggs vary. Follow USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service guidance for cooking eggs, including at altitude. A calculator result is not a substitute for that guidance.
Soft and jammy eggs have runny yolks. USDA advises cooking eggs until the yolk and white are firm, especially for young children, older adults, pregnant people, and anyone with a weakened immune system. Soft and jammy eggs are your choice.
